Developing shared services, business process outsourcing and call centres is one of the most promising fields in Lithuania. The country offers perfect conditions for the expansion of the above businesses. First of all, educated and multilingual human resources are available in Lithuania. The percentage of the Lithuanian population with higher education is two times higher than the EU-15 average and is also the highest in the Baltic States; All the necessary infrastructure for the development of shared services, BPO and call centres is fully implemented in Lithuania, including telecommunications, the Internet, modern office space etc.
