NOTICE: The Lithuanian Development Agency (LDA) has been restructured into two public organizations - "Invest Lithuania" and "Enterprise Lithuania". The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania is the owner of the two new institutions.
Branding Guru Wally Olins Presented Lithuania’s Economic Image Building Strategy
Wally Olins, one of the branding gurus, and his team Saffron Brand Consultants presented the Lithuanian economic image strategy for 2009-2014 on March 26, 2009, in Vilnius.

To prepare the document on the Lithuanian economic image building, Wally Olins and his colleague Jeremy Hildreth were participating in meetings with almost 100 Lithuania’s top-ranking officials and business representatives as well as were collecting necessary documentation about the current overall image of the country.» Matchmaking event “Baldai” and “BMTf”, furniture and wood working took place in Vilnius The LDA International Trade Development Department team organized the matchmaking event “Baldai” and “BMTf”, March 26, 2009 – furniture and wood working in Lithuania‘s capital city Vilnius. This event hold together with the specialized exhibition was attended by 92 participants from 9 European countries: Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Sweden and UK. 700 individual meetings took place during this matchmaking event.
